The researchers determined the frequency of ejaculation one year prior to the distribution of the questionnaire, as well as between the ages of 20 to 29 and 40 to 49 years.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The results of the study showed a considerable decrease in prostate cancer cases in men who masturbated frequently, although it is not yet clear why. Some scientists believe that a successful orgasm can eliminate cancer-causing toxins that accumulate in the prostate.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previous studies suggested that having an active sex life may help reduce the risk of cancer. However, this recent research provides a specific number of orgasms per month.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men worldwide, after lung cancer.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is estimated that approximately 1.4 million new cases of prostate cancer were diagnosed worldwide in 2020, accounting for 7.3% of all new cancer cases in men.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prostate cancer incidence rates vary by region of the world, with higher rates in high and middle-income countries.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The risk of prostate cancer increases significantly after age 65, with more than 85% of cases diagnosed in this age range.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fortunately, the survival rate for prostate cancer is relatively high compared to other types of cancer. However, treatment can have life-changing effects, such as incontinence and impotence.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Therefore, preventing the development of prostate cancer is a better option than undergoing treatments after diagnosis. This research aims to improve lifestyle choices to reduce the risk of developing the disease.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, frequent masturbation is not enough to prevent prostate cancer. A healthy diet, regular exercise and regular check-ups with a physician significantly reduce the risk.
